I think it is an interesting building but has to count as an honourable failure. Given that the overall design was a high energy efficiency triple glazed skin, Lasdun was obviously constrained on how much he could modulate the facade.

Yes. Milton Gate by Denys Lasdun, Squire & Partners. There is a naughty reference to Mackintosh's Glasgow School of Art on one of the side elevations.
