There's a good BD article on the estate which you have to register to read but is free. I agree with the AR reviewer which the article quotes, in seeing in the project a kind of medieval modernism which also puts me in mind of Kenzo Tange's Yamanashi Region Communications Centre (1967). Or Howl's Moving Castle...

Just stumbled across this and several other nice images of a Miesian box on Flickr. Clearly v.similar to a building in Wandsworth I posted on a while back - although this one is geographically a great deal closer to it's source of inspiration...
